We are seeking a skilled Clinical Instructor to join our team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a vital role in assisting with in-service programs, orientation, and performance improvement activities throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with in-service programs and orientation for nurses and other staff in all clinical areas
- Serve as a resource person to staff and management
- Participate in performance improvement activities as needed
- Assist with hospital orientation and employee health nurse as needed
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a Current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status
- Minimum three years of experience as a Clinical Instructor preferred
- Certifications: Certification as an instructor with the American Heart Association in BLS required, PALS, and/or ACLS preferred
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
