About the Role

Gastro Care Partners is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Peak Gastroenterology. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our gastroenterology practice.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pre-Anesthetic Assessments and Patient Evaluations: Perform thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  2. Medication Management: Select, order, and administer pre-anesthetic medications as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  3. Anesthesia Care Planning: Develop and implement anesthesia care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  4. Surgical Procedures: Induce and maintain general anesthesia, monitor life functions, and take corrective action as needed during surgical procedures.
  5. Post-Anesthesia Care: Initiate and administer respiratory support, select and prescribe post-anesthesia medications, and evaluate patients' post-surgical responses.
  6. Education and Training: Provide didactic and clinical education to staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
  7. Quality Improvement: Identify potential risks in processes, procedures, and devices, and communicate these findings to the appropriate channels.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Master's degree or equivalent post-baccalaureate training in anesthesia, current CRNA license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification.
  2. Skills and Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, strong computer skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
  3. Physical Requirements: Ability to move around a medical environment, consistently grasp and move small objects, and frequently communicate with others.
