CRNA - Peak Gastroenterology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Peak Gastroenterology. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to our patients undergoing gastroenterology procedures.

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations, selecting and administering pre-anesthetic medications as needed.
• Review and request laboratory/diagnostic studies, developing and implementing an anesthesia care plan.
• Induce and maintain general anesthesia, monitoring life functions during surgical procedures.
• Take immediate corrective action during adverse responses to medication or complications, utilizing airway management, emergency drugs, and basic and advanced cardiac life support techniques.
• Select and prescribe post-anesthesia medications or treatments, evaluating patients' post-surgical or post-anesthesia responses.

• Master's Degree or equivalent post-baccalaureate training in Anesthesia.
• Current CRNA license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• 3 years of experience working as a CRNA preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI lab, Surgery Center, or Critical Care setting highly preferred.
