Job Overview

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with transitioning from hospital to home and providing continuous care to ensure their well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Communicate with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • One year prior hands-on nursing experience
  • Reliable transportation
