We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Associate at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional guest service and be part of a dynamic team in one of Alaska's most iconic destinations.

Job Summary:

This role involves providing sales and service to guests in our Gift Shop, handling monetary transactions, answering client questions, and assisting with daily operational tasks. You will also be responsible for inventory control, restocking items, and maintaining accurate records.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Handle monetary transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Answer client questions and provide information about products, the lodge, and Alaska.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks, including inventory control and restocking.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit daily paperwork for night audits.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of computer business applications and working knowledge of computerized retail point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
