Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Cybersecurity Preparedness Administrator. This position plays a crucial role in the development and execution of extensive cybersecurity training initiatives and the coordination of incident response strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and enhance cybersecurity training programs tailored for employees and stakeholders.
  • Create and facilitate engaging training sessions, both online and in-person, covering essential cybersecurity topics such as social engineering, data protection, and phishing awareness.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify current security threats and training requirements across various departments.
  • Collaborate with different teams to assess training needs in light of emerging threats and regulatory changes.
  • Promote a culture of security by implementing awareness training and educational initiatives.
  • Develop and administer assessments to evaluate employee understanding and attitudes towards cybersecurity.
  • Foster an environment of open communication regarding suspicious activities.
  • Exhibit strong leadership in cybersecurity practices.
  • Coordinate incident response efforts across IT, security, legal, and other relevant teams to manage security incidents effectively.
  • Create and maintain incident response plans and communication protocols to ensure a unified response to cyber threats.
  • Organize and lead incident response drills and exercises.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for incident detection, analysis, containment, and recovery.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices through ongoing professional development.
  • Undertake additional security-related tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and managing cybersecurity training programs in a corporate or enterprise setting.
  • Proven ability to create and implement effective cybersecurity training initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex security incidents and devise appropriate response strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on security-related tasks.
  • Familiarity with incident response tools and forensic techniques is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices is advantageous.
  • Creativity in developing engaging training materials is a plus.
  • Experience with security awareness training platforms is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS, NIS CSF, NIST RMF, or ISO is a plus.
