Job Title: Cyber Incident Planning Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Cyber Incident Planning Coordinator will assist with the development, strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of an integrated program to support the preparedness, response, and recovery efforts related to cyber incidents in Philadelphia. This role will provide subject matter expertise, conduct research, and coordinate cybersecurity risk assessments to identify cyber risks, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity best practices and frameworks.
  • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity risk assessments and identify potential cyber impacts to city agencies and critical infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders from local, state, and federal government.
  • Provide analysis and context to regional, national, and international cyber incidents.
  • Develop and implement educational campaigns to promote cyber hygiene among city employees.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, homeland security, emergency management, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in a cybersecurity, homeland security, or emergency management profession.
  • Project or incident management experience.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and work groups.
