This role is crucial in ensuring that individuals and families in need have access to healthy food options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with management to oversee daily operations of the food bank, including managing inventory, processing orders, and organizing food donations.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with local food banks, community organizations, and donors to secure consistent food contributions.
  • Monitor and record food donations and distributions to assess program effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Design and execute outreach initiatives to promote the food bank's services within the healthcare facility and the broader community.
  • Maintain a clean and organized food bank environment, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a health service provider or community-focused health organization.
  • Associate's degree in a health-related field preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
  • ServSafe Certification is mandatory (to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential.
