**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our Professional Learning Services team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative support to our committees and councils, maintaining accurate records of department events and activities, ensuring compliance with ACSA's policies and procedures, and updating our website with department information as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. Committee and Council Support
    1. Provide administrative support to committees and councils
    2. Coordinate meetings and appointments
    3. Prepare meeting agendas and supporting materials
  2. Record Keeping
    1. Maintain accurate records of department events and activities
    2. Ensure compliance with ACSA's policies and procedures
  3. Communication
    1. Update our website with department information as needed
    2. Communicate effectively with staff, members, and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
  • Minimum two years of administrative experience; association or non-profit experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team

Salary Range

$25.19 - $28.46 hourly based on a 37.5-hour workweek
