Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of client documents, including Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Correspond with clients and companies to gather information and resolve issues.
  • Perform basic file maintenance and data entry tasks.
  • Enter new business applications and process change requests to the carrier.
  • Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of property forms.
  • Process incoming requests for additional information from the carriers.
  • Prepare renewal kits and forward to clients for updated information.
  • Prepare and assist with renewal summaries and proposals.
  • Assist with loss run requests and set up insured's policy booklet.
Requirements
  • Previous business insurance experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to research and analyze problems independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
  • Reliable and punctual.
