About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Collin Springs, a 72-bed behavioral hospital located in McKinney, TX. As a Registered Nurse on our nightshift team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and medication management
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital operations
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training
  • Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
  • CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients is preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities is also desirable.
