Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Position

Medical City Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team at our McKinney, Texas location. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical and administrative support to our program, performing therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by physicians. You will also participate in patient education and rehabilitation, providing interpretation of treatment to patients and their families. In addition, you will coordinate unit activities and ensure accountability of all assigned tasks.

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing required
- One year of psychiatric inpatient experience is preferred
- Experience or education with a focus on crisis stabilization, the age-specific needs, and knowledge of chronic mental illness and chemical dependency is desirable
- Current RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State your Primary State of Residence required
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare or American Red Cross BLS required
