Muncie Power Products is seeking a skilled Product Engineer to join our team. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for the sustaining support of current products and providing support to the sales team on products and applications.

Your support in the planning, selection, and launch activities of products will be essential to Muncie Power's growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the selection and planning of new products
  • Assist in the development and launch of new manufactured products
  • Develop and update product catalogs, owner manuals, product service sheets, installation guidelines, sales/training material, product bulletins, ISO Controlled Documents, etc.
  • Assist the implementation of all new products while coordinating with other departments including sales and marketing
  • Generate CAD drawings and models as required
  • Assist in establishing product list prices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, mechanical, industrial engineering, or other applicable degrees or A.A.S. degrees
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working on the technical side of products
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed oriented drawings
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Superior interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Flexible to effectively adapt to changing conditions and job assignments
