The Surgical Unit comprises a 24-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit, specializing in the management of post-operative adult patients. Our specialized services encompass vascular, urology, colorectal, nephrology, thoracic, abdominal, and gynecological care.

N2 nurses cultivate strong collaborative relationships with surgeons and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure optimal patient care.

Our nursing staff operates as a unified team, committed to delivering outstanding, personalized patient care.

We foster collaborative environments with robust interdisciplinary teams, emphasizing a patient-centered care model within a diverse workplace.

Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse employs evidence-based practices in alignment with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and medical staff directives.

The registered nurse utilizes the nursing process to formulate a comprehensive care plan addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.

Qualifications: RN with a current Connecticut license required
ASN/BSN
Experience in relevant specialty preferred
New graduates to work under supervision per State guidelines.
