Position Overview

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a qualified Visual Inspector III to enhance our operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual and non-destructive assessments of static and dynamic pressure-retaining systems in compliance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
  • Prepare and deliver precise technical reports to clients, detailing the condition of equipment.
  • Offer technical advice regarding the repair, re-rating, replacement, and modification of plant equipment to ensure safe operations within specified parameters.
  • Provide expert input on welding and metallurgical concerns as needed.
  • Deliver technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination methods and protocols.
  • Adhere to all Acuren and client safety protocols and actively engage in site safety programs.
  • Be open to travel as required.
Qualifications
  • Certification in American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 2 years of on-site experience.
  • Additional certifications such as API 653 or CWI are advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
  • Experience in direct collaboration with petrochemical facility engineers.
