Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and non-destructive assessments of static and dynamic pressure-retaining systems in compliance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
- Prepare and deliver precise technical reports to clients, detailing the condition of equipment.
- Offer technical advice regarding the repair, re-rating, replacement, and modification of plant equipment to ensure safe operations within specified parameters.
- Provide expert input on welding and metallurgical concerns as needed.
- Deliver technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination methods and protocols.
- Adhere to all Acuren and client safety protocols and actively engage in site safety programs.
- Be open to travel as required.
- Certification in American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 2 years of on-site experience.
- Additional certifications such as API 653 or CWI are advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
- Experience in direct collaboration with petrochemical facility engineers.
