Astrana Health is a leading healthcare management company that empowers physicians to provide high-quality care to their patients.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Corporate Finance Leader to join our team. This role will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to help drive Astrana Health forward in the healthcare industry.

This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office 3 days a week and at home for the remaining days. The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $180,000 - $240,000 per annum.

About the Role:

This Corporate Finance Leader will be responsible for overseeing a team of 25+ individuals and working cross-functionally across departments. The role will involve:

  • Leading the accounting, reporting, and operations teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing the monthly and quarterly close process for all entities, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of reconciliation and financial fluctuations.
  • Maintaining Quarterly IBNR schedules, including ad hoc analysis of claims spend by vendor and specialty.
  • Preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements and executive summaries for all IPA managed for executive management review.
  • Ensuring all regulatory filings are completed on time and accurately.
  • Preparing budget vs actual analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis to ensure results are accurate.
  • Supporting and managing technical accounting research and analysis, setting standards and initiatives as appropriate for accounting, reporting, and operations.
  • Working with external auditors to provide needed information for audits.
  • Identifying and addressing issues impacting accounting close and consolidation process.
Minimum Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a Master's degree or CPA Certification as a plus.
  • 8+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably within a growing healthcare company.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of GAAP.
  • Knowledge of SOX404 as a preferred qualification.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
