Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Biller/Collector to join our team at Boulder City Hospital. As a key member of our revenue cycle department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate billing of patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient demographics and insurance information for accuracy
  • Verify billing information and charge accuracy
  • Submit timely billing and process payments
  • Respond to correspondence and telephone inquiries
  • Follow up on assigned accounts and resolve billing issues
  • Utilize Critical Access (CAH) rules and regulations for billing
Requirements
  • High School Graduate/GED
  • One year experience in hospital or healthcare billing
  • Knowledge of Medical and Insurance terminology
  • Working knowledge of Cerner for patient accounting system and editing applications
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to meet required timelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with CAH billing practices and reimbursement
  • Experience with Inpatient and Outpatient billing
