Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our US Banking Regulatory Engagement team with expertise as a former federal banking regulator, auditor, consultant or similar roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with regulatory agencies and provide guidance to the business on regulatory matters
  • Serve as a key liaison between the firm and regulatory agencies leveraging your prior expertise
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulators, fostering open communication and collaboration
  • Coordinate and support regulatory examinations and audits by leveraging your deep understanding of the regulatory process
  • Prepare the firm for examinations, facilitate communication with regulators, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to address examination findings and recommendations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Regulatory experience including a deep understanding of banking laws, regulations, and examination processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with regulatory agencies and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex regulatory requirements
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking regulations, including but not limited to Basel III, Dodd-Frank Act, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Consumer Protection regulations
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices and emerging risks
  • Strong understanding of risk management and the ability to assess regulatory impacts on policies, processes, and controls
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities in evaluating risk scenarios
  • Comfortable being independent and a self-starter
  • MS Office proficiency
