About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Medtronic. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for key business processes. You will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as a liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
  • Monitor projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Gather requirements, work on requirements planning, requirements elicitation, and requirements management to ensure they meet the demands of project key stakeholders.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5 years of business process/program management experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of business process/program management experience.
  • Nice to have: experience with reporting, program and/or portfolio management/skills, and managing through risk mitigations.
  • Experience in project/program management in the medical industry and/or medical device industry.
  • PMP, PgPM, PfPM, Lean Six Sigma certifications.
  • Experience implementing or executing Operational Excellence strategy, new process, tools, and program and/or portfolio dashboards.
  • Excellence mitigation management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, both delivery and development.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerBI, Project, Teams).

Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $113,600.00 - $170,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
