Job Title: Sushi Chef

At SONO, we are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality dishes.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu changes and specials, and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to work with various ingredients.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques.
