Job Summary

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterizations department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in the cath lab.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, including balloon angioplasty, PCI, and stent placement.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including Volcano monitoring systems and Impella devices.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as experience with Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and CSI/Jetstream/Laser equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • BLS, ACLS, and FL license required.
