Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembler III to join our team at Dormakaba USA, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of basic production and assembly processes, operating production assembly machines, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly tasks by following work instructions and operating production assembly machines.
  • Inspect parts to quality standards and communicate any issues to the supervisor.
  • Pack finished products and perform Out of Box Quality tasks.
  • Train Assembler I and II employees and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Follow EHS policies and procedures, including use of PPE and daily 5S.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles and equipment.
  • Fine manipulation and dexterity required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP software.
  • Experience with problem-solving tools like 5Y, A3, KATA.
  • Exposure to CI methodologies like Kaizen, Six Sigma.
