Job Summary:

BRIA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Director to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing respiratory therapy programs that meet the needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement respiratory therapy programs that align with the needs of our residents.
  • Train and develop a team of respiratory therapists to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with the nursing department to provide respiratory therapies tailored to the needs of our residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficacy and progress of respiratory therapy interventions and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as respiratory therapy or a related healthcare field.
  • Current, valid Registered Respirator Therapist (RTT) license in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience working with tracheostomy and ventilator patients.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a respiratory role in a skilled nursing setting.
  • Respiratory director experience is preferred.
