Job OverviewThis is a safety-sensitive position that requires a compassionate and kind Registered Nurse – On Call to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will act as primary liaison between physician, patient/family and hospice team.
The Registered Nurse – On Call will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient's family after normal business hours on an on-call basis
- Managing an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice care
- Evaluating patient/family needs and assisting in the preparation and execution of the plan of care for each patient
- Maintaining all assigned patient clinical records
- Participating in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A current RN license (in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain)
- 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology preferred
As a Registered Nurse – On Call at Gentiva Hospice, you can expect:
- A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year
