Job Title: Room Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team at the Woodmark Hotel. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and service in our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all designated areas to meet Woodmark Hotel Housekeeping standards
  • Change soiled linens on beds and make beds according to hotel protocol
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom linens
  • Ensure mini bar is properly stocked and refreshed
  • Follow lost and found procedures
  • Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, and showers daily
  • Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor
  • Report to work on time and according to posted schedule, maintain accurate time records, and follow proper standards for issuance of rooms
  • Communicate all pertinent information to the housekeeping team
  • Follow all safety procedures regarding employee and guest safety, including the use of the panic button
  • Attend department, hotel, and division meetings
  • Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of all hotel amenities and special events
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior housekeeping/custodial experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to work various shift times, including mornings, mid-days, and evenings
