Role Expectations:

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in supporting housekeepers, management, and guest services. Responsibilities include adhering to established protocols for handling various materials and ensuring cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to all service requests.
  • Maintain vigilance regarding safety concerns and report incidents to supervisors.
  • Handle company property and supplies responsibly.
  • Deliver requested items to guests efficiently.
  • Accurately receive and store incoming deliveries.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in storage areas.
  • Keep detailed records of services provided.
  • Ensure security and control of keys.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Follow established procedures for lost and found items.
  • Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Stay informed about hotel amenities and special events.
  • Adhere to the scheduled work hours and maintain accurate time records.
  • Present a professional appearance in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Remain attentive and courteous to guests and colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in hospitality is preferred.
  • One year of customer service experience is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • A degree in hospitality or related field is a plus.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess a valid work permit.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
  • Must follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills are necessary.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are expected.
  • Teamwork is crucial in this role.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences is essential.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Occasional pushing/pulling of up to 75 lbs may be required.
  • Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation.
  • Ability to bend, squat, and kneel as needed.
  • Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
