Territory Manager Northwest Indiana

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team in Northwest Indiana. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Sell food and non-food items to customers, including value-added services such as menu planning and product demonstrations.
- Manage deliveries to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
- Identify prospective customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
- Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills.
- Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using Customer relationship management tools preferred (i.e., Salesforce).
This position requires frequent travel to existing customers and prospects, and may involve lifting/carrying up to 75lbs. The work environment is frequently outside the office environment, working in the field visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions.
