We are seeking a highly skilled EAP Specialist to join our team at Northwest Indiana Community Action. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing EAP applications, determining eligibility, and ensuring compliance with program regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process EAP applications in a timely and efficient manner
  • Determine eligibility for EAP assistance based on program requirements and regulations
  • Collaborate with NWICA staff to enhance internal and external communication and meet agency goals and objectives
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, training programs, and supervisory sessions to ensure a positive team environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the EAP Supervisor
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate is required
  • Knowledge of MS Office systems is essential
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills are necessary for success in this role
  • Understanding of low-income client populations is a must
