Job Title: Construction Management Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Management Representative to join our team at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson. As a key member of our Facilities-CM team, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from inception to close out, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead project job-site meetings, review contractor work, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Review and approve contractor requisitions and invoices, manage change orders, and control costs
  • Report on project issues, provide status updates, and perform other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager, Construction Management Representative, or Construction Superintendent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective leadership, and ability to manage contractors
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, experience with MS Excel, and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
  • Engineering in Training (EIT), Registered Professional Engineer (PE), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Experience on federal government construction projects, familiarity with federal policies and procedures
