About the Role

Orchard Title is seeking a proactive Escrow Officer to oversee the closing process and deliver an outstanding experience for clients. The ideal candidate is an experienced real estate professional with in-depth knowledge of residential closings. If you thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments and can manage your own caseload, we would like to connect with you. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Escrow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities by participating in sales meetings, real estate events, and management discussions, while engaging with lending and banking partners to enhance capture rates.
  • Prepare closing disclosures, escrow agreements, and all relevant settlement documents in accordance with lender and buyer/seller instructions.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments, including Customer Experience, Brokerage, Contract Operations, and Funding, to swiftly address and resolve any issues in the Title process to prevent delays.
  • Ensure clear title by rectifying title defects, addressing existing liens and encumbrances against properties or principals, and confirming proper vesting.
  • Reconcile all financials with corresponding invoices and tax balances.
  • Provide accurate lender closing instructions and oversee the receipt and appropriate disbursement of funds; ensure all outstanding checks and escrowed funds are managed correctly.
  • Adhere to Orchard Title policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Licensed Escrow Officer with an established book of business.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills that foster positive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in using technology (Google Suite) and specialized software (e.g., Qualia); training will be provided if necessary.
  • Familiarity with state-level escrow regulations enforced by the Department of Insurance.
  • A collaborative team player who embodies the principle of "Team Before Self."
  • A genuine passion for innovation and adaptability to change.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
