About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant II to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts.

This is a 40-hour per week, ongoing position with a shift of 8 hours, days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, elimination needs, ambulation, and nourishment.
  • Take vital signs, perform blood sugar testing, and measure patient height and weight.
  • Document patient data in the medical record in a timely manner.
  • Ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
Requirements
  • CPR training required.
  • Phlebotomy training and experience preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant, or is a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has successfully completed at least one clinical rotation.
