Job Summary:

As a Senior Architecture Project Manager at HDR Engineering, Inc., you will be responsible for coordinating the work of a multidisciplinary team on multiple concurrent projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of project management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client relationships and be involved in marketing, contractual/scope establishment, design, and production meetings.
  • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the work of Project Architects and associated design staff.
  • Conduct work sessions at project milestones to ensure team is meeting schedule and quality goals.
  • Identify and mitigate or manage project risks.
  • Have excellent communication skills with team and client in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within agreed-to-parameters.
  • Monitor subconsultant work progress against contract(s).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • 7 years related experience.
  • A minimum 2 years project management experience.
  • Registered Architect.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Good planning and mentoring skills.
