  • Participate in MDS and Care Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans for patients with wounds, demonstrating a deep understanding of wound care therapy and management.
  • Provide Primary Skin Care: Deliver high-quality primary skin care, with a focus on wound care therapy, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate Infection Control Techniques: Possess a thorough knowledge of medication administration and infection control techniques, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide Direct Daily Care: Offer direct daily care and services to residents, adhering to care plans, state and federal regulations, and facility standard policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Resident Safety and Comfort: Prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Meet Age-Related Needs: Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
  • Demonstrate a Passion for Caring: Exemplify a passion for caring through interactions with co-workers, residents, families, and visitors, fostering a culture of empathy and compassion.
  • Fulfill Other Nursing Duties: Perform other nursing duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
  • CPR and BLS Certifications: Possess current CPR and basic life support (BLS) certifications.
  • Certification and Experience in Wound Care: Hold certification and prior experience in wound care, demonstrating expertise and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
  • Meet Local Health Regulations: Be able to meet all local health regulations and pass the pre/post-employment physical exam if required, including drug screening, criminal background check, and reference inquiry.
