Our Account Managers play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver exceptional security and life safety services. They are tasked with ensuring a customer-centric approach to security and life safety for both the properties and individuals they oversee, as well as the teams they manage. Site Account Managers are accountable for the daily leadership and administration of the specific customer account(s) assigned to them.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and make a significant impact in a key position.
  • Guarantee that quality services are delivered to fulfill customer expectations and contractual obligations by consistently managing, directing, inspecting, training, coaching, mentoring, and leading security personnel assigned to the facility.
  • Oversee operational functions including scheduling, overtime management, daily log reviews, and staff training and development.
  • Monitor and enhance staff performance through supervision, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, training, scheduling, and work assignments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date timekeeping systems and records for personnel.
  • Provide recommendations for personnel actions based on performance for those under direct supervision.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and issues as they arise.
  • Adhere to and coordinate established emergency response protocols and action plans.
  • Ensure 24/7 availability for the assigned customer account(s).
  • Oversee the Business Continuity Program, collaborating with all teams to support business continuity requirements for the organization and customer account(s).
  • Manage compliance and regulatory matters effectively.
  • Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents.
  • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as necessary.
  • Compile required weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly managerial reports.
  • Facilitate training as stipulated in contractual agreements, including CPR/First Aid/AED and other state or local certifications.
  • Assist in the procurement process and maintenance of uniforms and equipment.
  • Maintain professional relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
  • Note that essential duties and responsibilities may vary by customer location assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Possession of state or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
  • Candidates should ideally have some of the following verifiable experiences:
    • Advanced educational qualifications.
    • Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field in law enforcement.
    • 3-5 years of experience in civilian law enforcement, private or corporate security, or military service with an honorable discharge.
  • Must hold a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills with the capability to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with computerized scheduling systems is advantageous.

Compensation:

Harvard Protection Services offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $60,000, along with health and welfare benefits, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability (LTD) coverage, and a 401K Savings Plan. This position is full-time, salaried, and exempt.
