Public Housing Occupancy Verifier

The Dayton Metropolitan Housing seeks a highly organized Public Housing Occupancy Verifier to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our recertification process. This role involves investigating and verifying factors necessary to establish eligibility for continued public housing occupancy, as well as communicating with residents and conducting training sessions.
Responsibilities:
• Verify resident income and calculate retroactive rent charges or credits where necessary.
• Meet with residents to discuss recertification results and provide guidance on required documents.
• Conduct training sessions for residents on recertification procedures and requirements.
• Review and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to resolve any issues related to fraud or non-compliance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, or social work) and one to three years of related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex information effectively.
• Estimated salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year.
