Encapsulation Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the workflow of their assigned shift, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage the workflow of their assigned shift, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports, including documentation of employee activities and production metrics.
• Monitor and maintain proper stock levels for expendable supplies and components used in the manufacturing process.
• Assist in documenting employee activities, including performance, corrective action, and attendance.
• Review and sign off on work orders, including blends, cleanings, and other production activities.
• Review batch records and associated documentation for completeness, legibility, and correctness.
• Work with quality control to identify, document, and resolve quality and production issues.
• Accurately document any out-of-specification conditions and track work orders internally during the production process.
• Monitor and verify the completeness of all logs for accuracy, completeness, and legibility.
• Communicate any changes to production orders, including quantities or schedule changes.
• Continuously monitor the Encapsulation and Blending environment for compliance with cGMP requirements and ensure a safe working environment.

• College degree preferred, or 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and math, as well as perform basic tasks on a computer.
• Must be comfortable wearing required PPE, including a full Tyvek suit and respirator.
• A legal right to work in the United States and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
