Encapsulation Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the workflow of their assigned shift, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage the workflow of the assigned shift, including monitoring production processes and equipment.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports, including documentation of challenges and issues.
• Lead by example, demonstrating strong work ethic, attendance, and adaptability.
• Perform supervisory functions in a cGMP dietary supplement manufacturing environment, including monitoring stock levels and documenting employee activities.
• Assist in documenting employee performance, corrective action, and attendance.
• Review and sign off work orders, including blends, cleanings, and batch records.
• Work with quality control to identify, document, and resolve quality and production issues.
• Accurately document out-of-specification conditions and track work orders internally.
• Monitor and verify completeness of all logs for accuracy, completeness, and legibility.
• Communicate changes to production orders, including quantities or schedule changes.
• Continuously assess safety and ensure production employees are working in a safe environment.

• College degree preferred, or 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and math, as well as perform basic tasks on a computer.
• Must be comfortable wearing required PPE, including a full Tyvek suit and respirator.
• A legal right to work in the United States, and must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
