Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Georgia Regional Hospital – Savannah. As a Forensic Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting court-ordered pretrial forensic psychological evaluations to determine competency to stand trial and/or criminal responsibility. You will also complete assessments on individuals admitted to a State Forensic Psychiatric Unit and conduct forensic risk assessments and other psychological testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct court-ordered pretrial forensic psychological evaluations to answer questions of competency to stand trial and/or criminal responsibility as a neutral friend of the court.
  • Complete assessments on individuals admitted to a State Forensic Psychiatric Unit.
  • Conduct forensic risk assessments and other psychological testing.
  • Conduct groups and psycho-educational interventions.
  • License may be temporary, provisional, or permanent. "License eligible" if able to obtain within a reasonable time (i.e. relocation from another state)
