Agricultural Data Collector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Field Enumerator. As a Field Enumerator, you will play a crucial role in collecting agricultural data on behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS).

• Conduct interviews with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses to gather data on crop yields, farm operations, and other relevant information.
• Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts and gather data on crop health and quality.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
• Represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.

• Experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators.
• Ability to make crop counts in designated fields.
• Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals.

We offer a competitive wage of $17.20/hour, plus mileage, with opportunities for a promotion based on hours worked and performance ratings. We also offer a flexible schedule, the opportunity to work from home, and the ability to work in your community.
