Agricultural Data Collector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Field Enumerator to support our organization's mission to grow and enhance American agriculture through policies, partnerships, and public engagement.

• Conduct interviews with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses to collect reliable and accurate statistics and information.
• Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts and gather data.
• Maintain and deliver detailed and legible records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
• Represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.

• Experience multitasking in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented work environment.
• Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators.
• Ability to make crop counts in designated fields.
• Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals.
• Knowledge about computers or iPads.

This part-time field service position offers a competitive wage of $17.20/hour, plus mileage, with opportunities for a promotion based on hours worked and performance ratings. We also offer a flexible schedule, the opportunity to work from home, and the ability to work in your community.
