About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist Hematology/Oncology MD/DO to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat cancer in adults using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy, and targeted therapy.
  • Work in collaboration with the supportive care team and may coordinate treatment given by other specialists.
  • Order and oversee diagnostic testing; prescribe treatment and supportive medications.
  • Participate in process improvement which drives standard of care across the continuum.
  • Participate in tumor board(s) is required.
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. with fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
  • BC/BE Medical Oncology and Hematology.
  • NM Medical License.
  • Demonstration of CARES behaviors and the practice of collaborative care.
