We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Finish Line Macy's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in all aspects of daily shift management, including customer relations, inventory control, and visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist General Manager in daily shift management, including customer relations, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain individual and shift sales.
  • Provide daily shift floor coverage.
  • Train Sales Associates.
  • Supervise POS.
  • Provide security and loss prevention in store.
  • Oversee contest management.
  • Organize shipments, transfers, and merchandise.
  • Perform maintenance of store.
  • Open and close store.
  • Ensure minimum sales volumes are maintained for Store to qualify for Assistant-Manager position.
  • Hold accountability for store sales and metrics.
  • Hold accountability for stock and merchandise flow.
  • Take lead role in store sales and selling practices.
  • Maintain company standards regarding store sales/performance metrics.
Physical Demands:
  • Requires standing approximately 5-8 hours per day, usually 3-5 days per week, including nights and weekends.
  • During peak sale periods, will work for long periods throughout a day.
  • Requires stooping and kneeling to place merchandise on customer's feet, as well as reaching and pulling to obtain or stock merchandise on storage racks.
  • May be required to climb a ladder or ascend/descend stairs to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale.
  • Required to lift items weighing lbs regularly, with occasional heavier weights.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and supervise staff.
  • Must be able to see and differentiate colors.
  • Required to work an average of 48 hours per week.
