We are seeking a highly qualified Professor of Mechanical Engineering to join our faculty at The University of Alabama. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in mechanical engineering and a commitment to teaching and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach courses in mechanical engineering at the undergraduate and graduate levels

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
  • Strong research background in mechanical engineering
  • Commitment to teaching and mentoring students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Record of building and sustaining a high-quality research program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
