Job Title: Preschool Center Director

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children.
  • Lead and inspire a team of educators by fostering collaboration, communication, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Develop strategic plans and goals for program growth and development, aligned with the school's mission and values.
  • Ensure the delivery of a high-quality early childhood education curriculum that promotes growth in cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Support teachers in their lesson planning, classroom management, and professional development through mentorship and feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with families by actively listening to their needs, concerns, and aspirations for their children.
  • Foster a positive community culture through events, parent-teacher meetings, and open communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and accreditation standards.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to maintain efficient and smooth school operations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging staff to attend workshops, engage in peer learning, and pursue further training.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education with a strong preference given to candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in an early childhood education setting, with a preference given to candidates with preschool director experience in a licensed program in Texas.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood curriculum, classroom management, and child development practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to listen, learn, and lead by example.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and the broader community.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both Spanish and English.
  • Hold a current director's credential from TX Childcare Licensing.
