About the Role

The Food Service Worker I assists in the preparation of food, ensuring a high level of quality and safety for our students and staff. This role is part of our ongoing recruitment efforts to establish an eligibility list for current and future hiring and substituting purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including meal planning, cooking, and presentation.
  • Clean and maintain cafeteria equipment, utensils, and facilities to meet health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the food service team to ensure efficient service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Support the Food Service Manager in maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
