Job Title: Maintenance Porter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Porter to join our team at SP+ Corporation. As a Maintenance Porter, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of facilities.
  • Operate equipment such as brooms, mops, and scrubbers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Check and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facility manager.
  • Assist with painting and other cosmetic repairs as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to dust, chemicals, and other potential irritants. The employee must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat) and be able to move quickly and efficiently in a relatively small space.
