Job Title: Apartment Porter

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apartment Porter to join our team at CTH Recruiting in St. Louis, MO. As an Apartment Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of our residential community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure common areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and laundry facilities, are clean and well-maintained.
  • Manage trash and recycling disposal, ensuring prompt and proper disposal.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the maintenance team.
  • Secure and clean all entrances, providing residents with peace of mind.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing residents' questions and concerns.
  • Assist the maintenance team on special projects to enhance the community's appearance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous property maintenance or similar experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
