Job Title: Registered Nurse Manager, Operating Room

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead our Operating Room team. As a key member of our perioperative services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our OR.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in the OR
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Managing staff schedules, performance, and development
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and care
  • Providing education and training to staff on new procedures and technologies
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current/valid nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Operating Room, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
