Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and process shipments in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and post delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise
  • Compile and organize receiving reports to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Verify merchandise counts and route merchandise to proper locations
  • Paying expenses and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Receive and organize merchandise in the Receiving area, following company procedures and utilizing equipment appropriately
  • Merchandise and complete required documentation
  • Track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, and maintaining and cleaning the clearance area
  • Utilize technology to capture required reporting and documentation
  • Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Conduct safety sweeps and follow proper forklift spotting procedures
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
  • Correct and/or report unsafe situations to facility management
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Implement related action plans and use the Open Door Policy
  • Adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
