Job Opportunity: Construction Special Inspector

Kleinfelder, a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, is seeking a skilled Construction Special Inspector to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. As a key member of our Construction Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site inspections and testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality control issues.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Provide expert advice on construction methods and materials to project teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry as a technician or inspector.
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification.
  • ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector certification.
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1 certification.
  • Radiation Safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge with soil density testing experience.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Use of a company-provided laptop or tablet computer and working knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good work ethic and high level of personal integrity.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ICC Structural Steel & Welding Special Inspector certification.
  • ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector certification.
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) - American Welding Society (AWS) certification.
